Santa Susanna disposes of two swimming channels in open sea
16 de May de 2022“It is a 2.5 km route of medium difficulty and at a maximum distance of 200 meters from the coast that allows you to enjoy the sea doing sports without having to pay.
Santa Susanna has two open water swimming channels. One is the Caletes channel, which starts at Llevant beach, passes through Caletes beach and ends at the beginning of Las Dunas beach. The second is Las Dunas, which starts and ends at Las Dunas beach itself.
These channels allow professional and amateur swimmers to follow the route as long as there is a beacon with buoys in the sea. You must always swim inside the line of buoys, autonomously and following the recommendations of the information signs, which are located in the sand, specifically at the entry and exit points of each channel. It is necessary to know the recommendations prior to the start of the activity. Some of the basic recommendations are the use of a brightly colored swimming cap and a signaling buoy, even though there are demarcation buoys.
In total there are 2.5 km that can be covered swimming or snorkeling in open water, an outdoor sport, in contact with the sea, with medium difficulty and at most 200m from the coast.
On the other hand, the posters have information on biodiversity and the characteristics of the seabed, which can be downloaded in QR format on the mobile.”
