Commitment to tourism sustainability BIOSPHERE
The Biosphere Tourism Sustainability Commitment is a program aimed at companies, services, and public entities in the counties of the province of Barcelona that want to improve their tourism sustainability management and their positioning as a tourist destination.
The project recognizes the good practices that, aligned with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations, consider the fight against climate change, the environment, social return, economic practices, and the cultural environment in which are found.
The project is promoted by the Barcelona Provincial Council and the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce and will be implemented in the counties by the county tourism management bodies.
