The new “Mar d’Estiu” Festival is presented, which will return the musical capital to the Maresme
21 de March de 2024The Llàntia space, in Santa Susanna, will host a luxury line-up featuring Malú, Rozalén, Ara Malikian, Sergio Dalma, Mushkaa and The Tyets
This afternoon the new “Mar d’Estiu” festival was presented in Barcelona, which is the bet of the town councils of Santa Susanna and Pineda de Mar to fill Maresme evenings with the best musical proposals. This new project full of excitement has the management of the Barcelona promoter TheProject and is born to become a real reference.
The call includes more than 10 proposals with concerts for all tastes, which will take place in the La làntia de Santa Susanna space, right next to Pineda de Mar. An enviable location next to the sea, very close to the railway station, with nearby bus lines and accessible parking areas. In line with Santa Susanna and Pineda de Mar’s commitment to sustainability, the “Mar d’Estiu” festival proposes a true commitment to the environment by betting on the minimum footprint, waste recycling and non-polluting ecological transport such as at first choice, among other initiatives. The concerts will end at 11 at night in order to reconcile the leisure and rest of the residents, as well as to facilitate the return by public transport.
The festival will arrive during the first fortnight of August, also having a Village space for small performances. It will include a program with 100% Catalan proposals, emerging and with women’s voices. There will also be space for gastronomy and Km 0 products. The La Llàntia space, in Santa Susanna, will host the main concerts to maintain a transversal and multifaceted approach, with proposals for all audiences. The poster will revolve around the big names with established artistic trajectories, paying special attention to the Catalan scene.
The group Ojete Calor will inaugurate the cycle on August 3, giving way to a program that will feature a handful of big names such as Luz Casal, Ara Malikian, Sopa de Cabra and Los Secretos. Renowned artists such as Malú, who will review his best songs live, Sergio Dalma or Juan Magán, with his Latin dance hits, are also part of this stellar event. The Gadían Antoñito Molina, in the midst of an upward spiral, is an indisputable reality this season, reaching ever larger audiences. The always inspiring God Save The Queen and Rozalén, who will present his new album El Abrazo, will also be present at the festival.
For the younger ones, the line-up includes a double concert with Mushkaa and The Tyets, two of the most current and popular proposals of the moment that complete a festival that promises great moments for lovers of the best live music.
