The participants occupied three hotels in the town and for six days, in addition to the competition, they took the opportunity to go sightseeing in the area.

The 14th edition of the Bol d’Or de petanque has brought a total of 1350 people from France and Switzerland to Santa Susanna. These are petanque players who have participated in the veterans tournament organized by the French company Latitude Sud Sport.

The tournament started on April 7th and runs until this Friday, the 12th. For six days, these Swiss and French players stayed at the Onabrava & Spa, Aquamarina & Spa and Aquahotel Montagut & Spa hotels. In addition to participating in the petanque competition, they took advantage of their stay in Santa Susanna, and the good weather, to go sightseeing and enjoy a mini vacation.

Latitude Sud Sport has once again chosen Santa Susanna for its event because of the town’s hotel capacity and the multipurpose spaces it can offer. In fact, these kinds of events are what make it possible to extend and deseasonalize the tourist season. In addition, they position Santa Susanna as a quality family and sports destination.
