The 8th edition of the Micrometer Festival represents the consolidation of a six-day performing arts program that acts as the start of the theater season. Invest in culture

At the presentation, Mayor Joan Campolier assured that there is already enough perspective to ensure that the Micrometer bet “was a success because it is a product that works and that people have made it their own”. He wanted to highlight the work of those who do it: “Quality, imagination and ambition have nothing to do with being a big or small town. It has to do with having professionals, who want to work, who move and who believe in the project”.

The mayor of Santa Susanna once again insisted on the importance of investing in culture: “Culture is the essential food to have a society capable of having its own opinion and, therefore, of being more free”. And he ended by explaining that the Micrometer meets two basic criteria for any project, “that it appeals to those at home and that it is able to attract those from outside”. Campolier states that this is happening because the proportion of spectators at the Festival is already 70% from Susanne and 30% from other parts of the country.
