The main professional MTB cyclists have come to compete to score points for the world championship.

On the weekend of April 6 and 7, Santa Susanna has once again become the capital of cycling, gathering around 3,000 people around the activities linked to the bicycle. A total of 890 cyclists took part directly in the set of MTB tests and family activities that made up the Bike Show festival, accompanied by around 2,000 people (teams, technicians and families), which shines with its own light on the cycling calendar. But the Bike Show is also a meeting that brings together professional MTB cyclists, who take part in the tests that are part of the international circuit and therefore qualify for the world championship.

Jofre Cullell and Linn Gustafzzon, Sunday’s winners

The star test of the Bike Show festival, the online XCO test that can be scored for the Biking Point Catalan BTT International Cup and the Shimano Super Cup Massi, has brought together the big names of international BTT. In the women’s category, the winner was the Swedish champion, Linn Gustafzzon (Massi), followed by the Catalan Marta Cano (Primaflor Mondraker Racing Team) and the French Isaure Medde (Team Sunn Performance Cycling).

The Bike Show festival started on the 6th with the Gravel Ride Tour, a 60 km route through Montnegre where 80 cyclists took part; the ebike, dedicated to electric bike enthusiasts and the Super Youth Santa Susanna (180 participants) aimed at young talents. This first part of the morning ended with a school ride that brought together about fifty girls and boys.

The Copa Catalana Internacional BTT Biking Point time trial closed the first day of the Bike Show with the victory of Meta Tanick (Misser Project), in women, and Roc Cubí (Misser Project), in men.
