An outstanding route running through the Maresme district as far as the south of the Costa Brava, via two of its distinctive towns, the popular and lively Lloret de Mar, and the beautiful walled town of Tossa de Mar. From there, a spectacular winding highway runs high above the sea, before turning inland to the NW, into the districts of La Selva and El Gironès. It passes through Llagostera, Caldes de Malavella, known for its thermal waters, before returning to the starting point via the valley of the River Tordera. Particular mention should be made of the climb up to Sant Grau and the Pedra-sobre-altra col, covering 7 km with maximum inclines of 13%. Likewise worthy of note is the incline when leaving Lloret de Mar, with 4 km of maximum inclines of 8%.
