Platja de Llevant beach

The Platja de Llevant beach runs parallel to the seafront promenade, which is also the site of Santa Susanna’s modern hotels. It holds SICTED (Integrated Destination Quality System) certification.

Sand: 70% coarseness, golden colour.

Rules and recommendations:

  • No camping
  • Non-potable water in the showers
  • No soap may be used in the showers
  • No pets allowed from April to October
  • No fishing between April and October
  • Massages forbidden
  • Fires may not be lit
  • No stubbing out cigarettes in the sand
  • Street hawkers forbidden
  • Steep incline when entering the sea
  • After heavy rain the water quality recovers in 48 hours
  • Beach with lifeguard from 1 July to 15 September (approx. 600 metres).
